About the game
Red Alert 3 is a RTS game released in 2008 and it’s a direct sequel to Red Alert 2. The desperate soviet leadership goes back in time to change the outcome of the war. They successfully change history but it might not be for the better as a new threat arises in the east.
The game is a continuation of the Command and Conquer Red Alert saga and with it comes the staple of C&C games, the Live-action cut-scenes, we all love, filled with known actors and other celebrities. Red Alert 3 is also the first game in the series that gives naval combat its time to shine with much of its combat taking place on the water. Besides the Soviets and the Allies, the game introduces a new faction “Empire of the rising sun”. A technological faction inspired by Anime, transformers, japan culture and Sci-fi.
Where to download Red Alert 3?
Steam
The first and most obvious place to look for a Red Alert 3 download is steam. The game and its expansions are available for download on steam and at the time of this writing, the game is 75% off and only 5.00$. The sale on the 25th of April 2022. That’s probably the best deal you can get, but don’t worry if you miss the window. Steam often has sales and I’ve seen C&C games at such low prices often. Download the game here!
Origin
Another legal way to download Red Alert 3 is Origin. Origin is a digital store for EA products. Mainly games. Here the game is available for purchase for 20$ but the origin store also works as a monthly subscription. So you can download multiple games per month for a monthly fee. Download the game here.
There is another way to download Red Alert 3 on origin. This time not as a single product but in a collection. The ultimate collection is a collection of all C&C games (excluding the C&C remastered) in one package. But what about Downloading Red Alert 3 for FREE?
Sadly to my knowledge Red Alert 3 is not freeware and therefore cannot be downloaded legally for free. But I will offer some options for those of you who don’t care about legality.
