Caviat
The issue? Unfortunately the maps are not sorted. What does that mean? Maps that have been downloaded by the Cncnet client have randomly generated names. Usually 16 random numbers and letters. The map extensions can be different. Most of them are .map so they’re ready to go with the cncnet client. However some may have .yrm or .mpr extensions and those only work with the vanilla installation. If you wish to learn how to add Red Alert 2 maps to your installation, you can visit the tutorial here. Moreover some maps may simply be bad in quality or might not even work properly. In other words you have been warned!
How to search Red Alert 2 maps pack?
To search the map pack, for a specific map, I suggest uploading the maps to your Red Alert 2 and searching through the maps there. Or use the Notepad++ search in files option. If you never done that before visit the tutorial here.
A portion of these maps will make their way to the sorted sections on the website, especially the most played ones and those that are working and of a good quality. This map pack is for those who do not wait for the maps to be sorted and will look through the selection by themselves.
